Why won't Adwords give me some impressions?

I've got #1 spot for top keywords

I don't understand something. I've got the top spot for a fairly competitive keyword phrase. It's something lots of people search for every day. But when I use Google's budget suggestions, their traffic estimator says I will receive .01 clicks a day. I upped my CPC and daily budget from Google's suggestion of $10 a day to $1000 a day and I get the exact same estimations. I know this is a more popular term than G is giving credit for.

Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't belive Google's estimates. I haven't seen anyone who trusts them. Use your own judgment.

Ignore the estimator. Start with a budget you are comfrotable with and adjust as you see how many clicks you get.
