one-affiliate per keyword rule

Hi, I have a GoogleCash question re the merchant/one-affiliate per keyword rule.

What happens when the merchant doesn't Adword their product or doesn't bid on a certain keyword but one of their affiliates does and you're also bidding on it? Do you both get in or just the one?

It's not the merchant PLUS one affiliate. It's only 1 advert for a keyword for a single domain, regardless if its a merchant or affiliate. Google doesnt differentiate between merchant and affiliates, theres no way they could know which you are.

So only 1 ad per domain I'm afraid.
