Validation email not coming through

Can't set up the account without it

I was on the phone today helping someone set up a new Adwords account, and the message with the link she's supposed to click to confirm her email address hasn't come through. We started this over two hours ago.

We've tried having it re-sent by clicking the link that appears when we try to log into the account, but still no message. We've doublechecked the email address that she used, and I also had her check her spam folder in case a spam filter had been triggered or something. We can't finish setting up the account until that message comes through.

The address she's using is an AOL address. Are there any known issues there that might be causing problems? Does anyone have any suggestions? Help!

In AOL email, there's a setting that only allows email through if they're on your contacts list. I'd recommend changing the AOL spam settings and trying again - it's common for AdWords emails to be blocked by a lot of servers.
