I see my state under the display URL

is this the result of geo-targeted campaigns?

So I'm typing in keywords today, and one of the sponsored results happens to have the state I'm in under the display URL. I've never done a geo-targeted campaign before but I can only guess this is a result of it. Funny thing is, the company was based in an adjacent state to mine. Has anyone else seen this?

This has been around for a while. You can often see cities, states, and in some cases, countries.

One must be using geotargeting to have the geographic area listed under the ad.
