When is a conversion reflected on the stats?

When it actually occurs, or when the first time the user clicks on our ad?

Hello all,

Do you know when Google records the conversions? Is it when the user actually makes the conversion, or when they click on our Google ad the first time which could be days before the conversion?

For example: A user clicks on my ad on September 1 to come to my website. He doesn't make any purchase. But on September 5, he comes back to our website directly (without clicking on our Google ad) and he makes a purchase.

On Google stats, this conversion is recorded for September 1 or September 5?

Thanks.

The conversion as reported in the user interface will be counted when the initial click occurred, thus on september 1.

If you want to know what date the actual sale took place you need to look at the transactions and create a customer report to get that info.
