We noticed a major oddity this week. We have run a very pleasing STC for a few weeks with a decent CTR of 2.6% or so (mean) and conversion rates that pleased us.

We added 3 new adverts. Regrettably they failed approval because we added too many "!" marks. Our fault.

Daft thing was the original advert was then classsed as bad. we wanted "for ever" they insisted on "forever". Note that *we* are right here and support is wrong, but we rolled over.

After we prodded support (which we had to do before the ads were flagged as disapproved [they were just not running after 3 days and we had no idea why], and which took a couple of days more plus a weekend) the STC slowed to a crawl. And yes we edited the adverts to make them compliant at that point.

We use half or less of our daily budget and never approach even 50% of our max CPM. And, by unhappy "coincidence", the advert with "forever" in it instead of "for ever" now has a 0.4% CTR (I said we were right with our wording!)

Does anyone have similar experiences with STC?

Amusing. We are now in a state where the advert is being served again, starting about 3 hours ago. But a very small batch of impressions and now total silence.

My good news is the single click through converted! But the bad news is that it is very silent.

Am I the only one here trying an STC, or just the only one with problems?
