Guys is it ok to have the landing page for my ads be a redirect that tracks the search phrase used as well as emails me before redirecting to the final landing page? End user will not see the redirect.
Sorry for the simple question but I'm new to adwords and want to make sure it's ok.

Yes, this is okay. You will want the display url to reflect the landing page url, not the redirect one, though.

Not sure I understand. So if my redirect page is:
mysite.com/tracking.asp
and lands on
mysite.com
I should display mysite.com/tracking.asp in Adwords as the landing page correct?

nope. you should just name the enentual url they end up at mydomain.com or mydomain.com/this stuff as the display url. I was talking about an instance where the tracking url was myothertrackingdomain.com and the landing page was mydomain.com in which case you would want to use mydomain.com as the display url.
