Just for fun!

I have a list of high paying keywords which are required a minimum bid of $5.0. There is no mistake, they cost you at least $5.0 per click to have your ad on these keywords. Try them.
* New
* and
* Old
* Crazy
* Google
...
If you need more, just let me know.

I tried them and could get 50c to activate them. It seems account history may be at work.

However Google did seem to think that $9.39 was the right max bid if you let it suggest one!

I did set up a new ad group to test the kws for fun. All of the above mentioned kws were sugested a minimum bid of $5.0 initially (Tuesday). Now, I retested these kws again, as the previous post mentioned, the minimum bid is now at $0.50.
Some one here mentioned that the minimum bid for “the crocodile hunter” was $5.0. I did check, it was $5.0 on Tuesday but now it's $0.50 (Thursday).

Did google recently modify the algo for the minimum bid? If so, they did take note.

Can anyone find a KW for a minimum bid of $5.0. I couldn't find them anymore.

Yo folks,

Until the day after the day before yesterday (whatever) all my keywords were 0.20+. Now suddenly 0.10 and 0.05 appears from nowhere. I didn't change a thing. CTR hasn't changed and is still lousy. Perhaps big G worked on my advice to remove the line
"if advertisers bid is 0.05 then raise minimum bid to ridiculous height" from the algo.
However, these cheap keywords generate zero traffic, so what's the point G?
