We removed ALL broad match terms last year after the big change. Is it now the way to pick up lots of cheap clicks? Is teh new sytem rewarding broadmatch?

I would think the new system is pushing for broad match and keyword specific ads even more. Each method increases clicks for Google. Google realizes the more keyword specific ads you create the more your competitors will look into them. Older ads don't pique the curiosity to see what they're about. Google knows at least 25% of their revenue is coming from competitors engaging in click fraud and the freshness of ads increases that. Broad matching for the obvious reasons.
