It seems that the changes will occur sooner than later (originally assumed as a month). It turns out that the month timeline is only related to how long keywords will be kept as disabled in an account before being autodeleted.
There will be an email sent when the changes occur.
It seems that it's better to go ahead and get accounts in order now, and not wait for additional notification.
