Premium Spot, Affiliate?

I have an interesting situation. I am an affiliate and I mostly direct traffic to my own site through adwords and then on to the merchant page after trying to presell a bit. However I do directlink on a few advertisers as well. I was in the premium spot on one particular merchant and getting a GREAT CTR! I was there maybe a 1-1/1/2 months. I noticed another affiliate jumped up in front of me. However my bids were set to 100.00 and they are still there. So with my RECENT CTR history how did they jump above me?

All your help and knowledge is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Presumably the new affiliate attained a better CTR than you had unfortunately.

Interesting I dont see how that is legally. I had 35-40% Could it be there ad is older? It does have the Aff tag that is not needed anymore. Could they have boosted there CTR somehow?

Also could it be I had a billing problem the other night and presumably my ads were down for 5-7 hours. Could the CTR that the ad had garnered through that have given the advertiser the CTR to beat me?

I think it is the billing issue.
