well, at last,

I made a bit of a change with our campaign budgets and had a massive difference in quality leads and no of leads.

we had 2 campaigns running for 1 site on different terms and decided to hold the budget on one, and give it's budget to the other.

The quality improved dramatically and the no of leads that have come in have gone through the roof. so much that we have had to slow it down because we need more staff to be able to deal with them.

This is the first time in 4 years that I have ever been asked to slow a campaign down due to there being to many good leads. got an emergency meeting on monday to sort out the staffing issue.

Just shows that the simplest things can have a dramatic change.

And we have our company BBQ tonight with FREE bar - nice. I'll be celebrating....

Just curious ... what did you see that led you to make that change?

Hi,

we were receiving lots of enquiries, but quite a few of them weren't converting well for us.

We knew the terms in the other account were better but a heck of a lot more expensive in general, but we decided to try it to see what effect it had. We were worried that we might not get as many enquiries because of the price of the phrases bringing in less visitors, but the conversion rate from visits to enquiries went through the roof

We are spending the same daily budget on the site, but just on more expensive terms that obviously convert a lot better.

Hope that explains it ok.

A nice story to see at the top of the page this morning, briggidere.

Congrats on that, and may it long continue. ;)
