Ad Groups being dropped because of "prescription drugs"

Anyone else with a SquareTrade approval having this problem?

Hi - one by one our Ad Groups are being dropped from AdWords because -"Content: At this time, Google policy does not permit the advertisement of websites that contain "forums related to prescription drugs". As noted in our advertising terms and conditions, we reserve the right to exercise editorial discretion when it comes to the advertising we accept on our site."

Although we don't sell any products on our site we are a consumer rating site for health treatments, including presecription drugs. Because of recent policy changes by Yahoo and AdWords I applied for and received an approval from an organization called SquareTrade. This was required in order to include ads for medications etc. on Yahoo and Adwords.

I was able to create a number of ad groups which included keywords for medications. Now, several weeks later we are being receiving emails that these ad groups are now being denied - in fact the entire ad groups which just contain keywords for health condition names, and no medications at all are being denied. A couple of emails to AdWords support have yet to be answered.

I'm just wondering if anyone else who has health content, and has paid for a Squarertrade certification is experiencing similar problems? Thanks.

Well, I just got a reply from Adwords -

"<email paraphrased>
Adwords reviewed the ads for compliance, and they apologize if ads were disapproved in error</paraphrase>

It seems like they are a little overwhelmed / confused by this approval certification thing. All of my ads have now been reinstated, but it was disconcerting to watch them be taken off-line one after another ;-( Oh well, "all is well that ends well".
