Automatically optimizing ads

If I UNCHECK the "Automatically optimize ad serving for my ads" box will Google then show each ad equally? They will alternate each ad?

I want this option because I created an identical ad for each one I had BUT I changed the "SID" coding. I want to get my new ads showing as much as possible so I can delete the old ads. This should avoid any delays in showing them?

Yes, this should be the case.

But many people on this forum reported bugs regarding this feature, so uncheck the option, but keep a close eye on stats.
