Keyword suggestion tool problem

When I use the keyword suggestion tool I get a bulleted list of keywords. I used to be able to copy and paste right in my add keyword list but now it's replaces the bullets with a # sign...it used to ignore the bullets completely and I got a proper keyword list.

It wasn't like that before. I don't have time to go throught the list and manually delete all the "#" before the suggested keywords.

Anybody has experienced similar problems?

You are right...and no, I don't remember it ever doing that before but I usually don't paste straight from that tool (I will go from there to notepad or excel) so I may be a bit behind. Hopefully just by posting this, it will get back to the Google team and they will fix it promptly. In the meantime, just open notepad and do a find and replace. It will only take another second or two but it will remove the number sign and then you can still copy and paste your terms into Google.

I copied and pasted a bunch of them yesterday and didn't run into any problem.

If you run into a problem like that, paste it into Notepad anyway. Then open Word or Wordpad and paste them in there. Do an Edit¦Replace¦All Occurrances of the '#'. sign, then paste what remains back into Notepad.

In fact, you may be able to omit either steps 1 or 3, but I like to play it safe knowing I'll end up with pure text.
