Message Too Old, No Replies

I bid on "widgets", my ad is also displayed on "free widgets"

How can I avoid that?

Maybe you have discussed this before and I couldn't find it.

Let's say I have a hotel in Island A and I bid on "Island A". My ad is also displayed on searches for "Island A Main Product" which is more popular from "Island A" alone. Of course, nobody clicks my ad as the title says it's a hotel, so I 'm not charged. But I 'm worried about my CTR that will affect other rankings.

In Adwords Control Panel, the report for "Island A" includes all searches for "Island A Main Product". If Google counts the CTR according to the search term (and not the keyword that the advertiser bids on), then I should be dropped from "Island A Main Product" soon. But the problem will remain as:
- I will continue to rank for combinations of "Island A Main Product"
- Google will rank my ad according to general average CTR at strange combinations of "Island A" that interest me.

Is there a way to avoid all these and just say that I want my ad displayed only on keywords I bid?

Read
[adwords.google.com...]
under the heading
"Try keyword matching options to narrow your searches"

Thanks johannes!

That's exactly what I needed, brackets around my keyword will resolve the problem.
