One of my ads was 'disabled' because it used the name 'Big Jungel River' in the text.

I'm not sure I get this...how is it trademark infringement if the ad itself is running as an affiliate to Big Jungle River for one of their products on sale at Big Jungle River? Since they would be making more from each sale than I...?

Lightpanther, your use of the term 'disabled' is throwing me off a little bit here. Which of these scenarios describe what has happened?

* a keyword is disabled, or

* an ad is disapproved for trademark use in the ad copy, or

* something else?

Since I don't really know what has happened exactly, here is a broad answer to this question: If you feel that you should be an exception to a trademark owner's request that advertisers not use their name in ads, then you would want to contact the trademark owner directly and make your case.

Bottom line, a trademark owner may decide if they wish to allow others to use their name in ad copy - and they, rather than Google, are in a position to grant an exception.

Hope that helps.
