I just thought I would post to 'document' this.
I was going crazy trying to figure out why I suddenly had no impressions.
Eventually I looked to the top of the screen for the date displayed and found the 'to date' (from - to) was set to yesterday. Because I had added a new ad group to an existing campaign I had set the displayed date to be a particular date in the future - not very far, as I am still learning and though it would simplify things to not show the impressions from the previous ad campaign showing in the campaign summary.
The 'to date' field resets itself to today, but apparently there is a hidden save of the date you originally selected.
So if your impressions just Stop, look at the date selection field
This time I set mine to 2009 :)

A good tip, leadergroot.

By the way the Date Range tool uses what is known as a 'Sticky Setting' - which means that it stays where you set it, until you actively set it to something different. This is true, even if you log out and then back in - or return to your account after several days.

So if today, 4/25, you set it to 'Yesterday', it'll give you stats for yesterday 4/24.

Then, if you then log in next on Thursday 4/28, it'll still be set to 'Yesterday' (unless you've changed it) which would be 4/27.

Because many advertisers forget they've set the date range to a particular day, I often advise advertisers to check the date range to which they're set first thing upon entering their account - each and every time they log in.

After all it's pretty hard to get useful information from one's statistics without knowing for what period of time those statistics are for. ;-)
