is there a way to get rid of them for good? they are annoying because they still show, i want it to go away, and not have to use the stupid filters...is there a way to get rid of them?
inferno, the short answer is 'No', it's not possible to delete the actual data for deleted campaigns. It remains a permanent part of the database.
It sounds as if you're already aware that you can always choose to not see deleted items in your account. Is that correct? This is a 'sticky setting', BTW, so once you've set it to hide deleted items, you'll never see them again unless you choose to.
If you're not aware of this ability, or don't know where to set it up, let me know - and I'll point you in the right direction. It just takes a couple of seconds.

Definitely they need a flag that allows you to totally delete a campaing specially if it had no activity.
I'll pass that feedback on.
You might be surprised, though, at the number of advertisers who are awfully glad that past data for deleted campaigns still exists, as tax time approaches. ;)

perhaps they can just move it to a different area, accessible by clicking a "deleted campaigns" button or something.
So that I can pass on your feedback accurately, inferno, how would this be different than how it works now?
The current method seems to amount to the same thing: you make a setting to not see the deleted stuff, at whatever level of your account you choose, and you never see it again unless you change your settings back again.
I'm probably missing something. (It has happened before!) Could you clarify?

Yep: the double totals line:
Total - 4 all but deleted campaigns
Total - all 5 campaigns
This is very annoying and unnecessary if both line totals are the same. When they differ in a given time period, I can understand.
