Multiple Text Ads in One Group

Do they run simultaneously?

I have debated writing multiple ads if they run simultaneously with different keywords.

Say I have three text ads and 300 keywords.

If they do, there might be relevance factors making it wise to write multiple ads.

If they don't, then the object would simply be to experiment until one text shows high performance and then scrub the rest.

Anyone know if they run simultaneously or one at a time across all keywords?

If you have multiple ads, there are two ways they can be run.

1. With the ad optimizer on (the option for this is in the campaign settings), the ads will all run across the networks (assuming they've been approved), and the ad with the highest CTR will start to show more often.

2. With the optimizer off, the ads will run equally across the advertising networks.
