Google Ad Clics Vs Google Analytics Users/Sessions - Why difference?

Greetings!

I do really enjoy dissecting Google Analytics and Google Ads Data, but sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees, so I wanted to ask here for some help.

Here you can see a screenshot, [screenrec.com ] from a Google Analytics account. We are looking a view that isolates just the Google Ads and so we can see the cyan (Spectrum!) line that shows the number of clicks that Google Ads delivered to the website. and then in dark blue, the number of sessions that were created off those Ad Clicks. What I don't understand is why there is such a difference between Clicks and Users. Surely they should match up or at least be closely aligned. Whether I choose Users or Sessions I am pretty much always seeing more Google Ad Clicks than corresponding sessions or users.

When I look at similar values on other GA accounts, they do align closely.

Grateful for anyone that is out of the woods that can see the trees to tell me what I am missing in my analysis.

Thanks and have a good weekend.

The chart is impossible to make sense of because it uses two separate scales to measure essentially the same thing, users (users directly or users by proxy of clicks). But casually looking at the values of left and right scales it would appear that both values match within a certain range. The one notable exception being peak to the right of "2021". One would expect that sessions could be greater than "clicks", in that a user may have arrived at first by click, left and then returned, thus showing more than one session for that user but only one click.

I'm not sure this fully explains the discrepancy, you need to compare the numbers directly without using the chart to be sure.
