Is it legal for a dealer in secondhand goods to use the trademarked name in an adword.
e.g Ford, Mercedes etc
I'm not really able to speak to legal issues, abcalan, but in terms of what is acceptable in AdWords, the actual answer to this is highly variable. It depends on several factors, including to what countries the ads are targeted, and what limitations a trademark owner has placed on their trademarked name, if any.
Bottom line, it's handled on a case by case basis by the AdWords review team.
