I'm a newbie in this forum and was looking for some information about positions and how they work in adwords. I have a key word say it's raiders. Adwords say that keywords position is 1.6, but when I do a search in Google for that exact word I'm not in the search at all. I got 5 pages of adwords and we are not on any of the 5 pages. What does this mean and how do I fix it.

Your time is appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Webmasterworld,

First off check your daily budget and your CPC.If they are too low your ads don't appear.
Second, check if your keywords are not pending a review.
Some particular "sensitive"keywords in fact has to be reviewed before publication.
At last, verify the number of clicks.
If the daily budget is not adequate, your ads could disappear after a certain number of clicks and be published with "intermittence".This is normal and requires only a budget review.

Hope to be useful.

Use the ad diagnostic tool (found under the tools tab) to check and see if Google can tell you why your ad is not showing.
