Google propose a new product "Cross-Channel Tracking", which allows you to have a free tracking report from others advertising campaigns you have with other partners as Overture, Looksmart, etc. Seems to be that Google want to know how are your movements with other advertisements services.

To Be sure.

However, it is a good thing for the advertiser. You can then compare "apples to apples" .

If only Google could find a way to let me *manage* my overture account from their system I;d really be happy!

The biggest impediment to our spending more on Overture is their sucky (really really sucky) UI.

I spent the whole day trying to figure out how to calculate the totals. YouŽare right: the overture UI sucks.

Overture could use Adwords UI for a while, as Yahoo used to have google results.

This came out in January.

You're not required to use it - it's value add only.
Overture has a similiar tool to track (and manage) AdWords bids.

You have to voluntarily sign up, place the code on your site, and amend the destination URLs for other campaigns. When you have to go through that much effort, and you know what you're doing - it's not at all spyware.

I'm actually also in the process of trying out cross-channel tracking, and I had just mailed customer support about Google data access and use.

Did I miss their statement on this somewhere. Does Google have a published policy about tracking data.
