Problems with Impressions

I am a complete newbie to the google adwords campaigns. After doing some research I have set up an initial campaign. I have roughly 60 keywords, but I have only received impressions on about 12 of them. The other keywords are highly search terms and I am getting 0 impressions. These words show in ACTIVE status, but when I use the ad diagnostic tool, it doesnt find these words.

Anyone have any ideas why they would not be showing up? I have double the recommended budget. Traffic estimator estimates 1400 clicks per day, but I have 40 in 3 days for a .08 CTR. Any idea why I am not showing on the other words?

Does it matter if all the words are ADULT words?

It matters 100%

An entire set of words and not just adult terms will not show pending a human review. These reviews only happen during the week. So if you entered them Thursday or Friday, they probably won't make appearances until Tuesday or Wednesday. You won't know they've been reviewed until you see impressions unless they are SO adult, you'll get an email instead.
