Can someone explain to me why only one of my keywords would be getting all the hits, and why the others are not getting any?

Your site may not be optimised for the other keywords.

I'm hoping someone wil point you to links within this forum that relate to site optimisation. Without looking at your site I can't highlight the areas that will help.

NO. Optimisation for SERPs (SEO) has no impact on his AdWords campaign.

Yes, you are missing a lot of other things. These are discussed for example here: [webmasterworld.com...]

But this has almost nothing to do with your main question.

Thanks for responding. Ok, perhaps you can take a look at my site and give me a pointer or two on what I should be doing there. How do I give you the url to my site, if not in this post? I understand that is not allowed?

Moto,

You can "sticky mail" the URL to anyone you want, however:

1) Maybe keyword #1 is better than the others

2) Do the other keywords show impressions?

2) Sometimes individual keywords require manual approval which can take a couple of days

3) What does it tell you when you try one of the 0 hit keywords under the "Ads Diagnostic Tool"?

patient2all:
1. the keyword is a very good one, maybe the best of my list, tho the others i am confident are also good.
2. all my keywords are getting impressions.
3. I've had this list working for over a week.
4. I find no link for the diagnostic tool.

shak: it's broadmatch, as are all of them.

Thanks

I've found the diagnostic tool.

My adds are showing up, so it's not a problem there, really. I just wonder why I get clicks only on the one keyword.

Moto,

If your AD is showing up for a search and your not getting clicks i can only put it down to one thing.....quality AD copy.

Make sure your AD copy is up to standard. Boring repetitive Ads just wont pull in the clicks. Try to be different than your competitors by using words that catch the eye or trigger thought or curiosity (but keep it targeted or you will be paying for clicks that dont convert)

Read This [webmasterworld.com] and This [webmasterworld.com]

Hope this Helps!

Delegate,

Thanks for your useful input. After reading those threads, I'm going to make some changes in my ad wording, see if that has a positive effect.

Dave721 - You recently pointed out to me that I am missing a lot of things in my site, and suggested I look here for answers - [webmasterworld.com...]

Is there anything in particular you are point to?
