I want to see what ads are shown (for my keywords of course) to various countries. OK so I use Proxify for US (I am in Australia) but how can I get other country viewpoints.
For those who don't know, Google delivers ads based on the searcher's IP address. So if you are in Australia you only see ads that have been nominated by advertisers to be shown explicitly or implicity (world option) to Australian searchers.

Not sure if this is what you're after, but adding...
&gl=us (or whatever two letter code for the country you wish to see)
after the Google returned URL for your search term should do it.

...too bad it doesn't always work!
I have tried the following to get my UK ad to show:
* www.google.co.uk instead of www.google.com * &gl=uk
In both cases, I had erratic results. My ad is always supposed to show, but refreshing gave different results every time.

Could be another problem, too.
When you refreshed a few times, has your ad shown once in a 2-3-4 refreshes? If no, it's weird. If yes, try raising daily budget and try again!
