But my ads aren't showing...The tool in adwords says I've hit my daily maximum and I'm no where close to the maximum and my ads have stopped running.
I have ANOTHER frickin call into customer service and the girl doesn't know what's going on and says she will get back to me within 2 hours.
Last time this happened some team was doing their "first time only review" and it took more than a day which I couldn't make money because my ads aren't showing.
Does google care that I have bills to pay? How can this company be so unfriendly to people like me who pay 4 and 5 figures per month to advertise?
I'm going to have to rely on overture more and more...and other PPC sites...This sh*t is rediculous...
I suspect Google is running out of inventory so they can be more choosey
A wise business builds another warehouse when demand exceeds supply.
As far as being more choosey, the scoring should be based on whether the ad takes the searcher to what they searched for, rather than some hazy, impossible to objectively measure goal of "additional useful content" and "education".
One can bet the most persistently annoying ads which have paid in long enough to show up on every query regardless of whether the searched topic show up anywhere in the ad aren't going anywhere.
Deceptive advertising abounds on AdWords because of CTRs only attainable by large companies that can eat the clicks of disappointed searchers since they operate on a high margin.
