Disabled keywords back to 'normal' automatically?

I had some keywords disabled days ago. I deleted them and created a new campaign. After a few emails back and forth with Adwords Team Rep about editorial guideline, those words were approved last night at 9:28. Half an hour later, one of them was disabled. It had about 20 impressions. Surprisingly, this morning this word has been back to 'normal'. Is it normal?

I think you may be confusing "On Hold" status with "Disabled". I know I got caught out on this in the past.

On hold means that the ad is offline, waiting for space to be promoted into "In trial". If you pass "in trial" you go back to normal. If you fail you go to "Disabled"

Clyini,

Your eyes did NOT deceive you. Despite what has always been claimed, that "Disabled" keywords never come to life again, they do. I've seen it time and time again.

The advice always has been to delete them immediately. Now I'm sorry I did that in some cases.

Thank you for confirming that for me!
