Hi Guys,

I was just wondering ... is there an automated way to calculate the value of a keyword? I mean, you can use a dictionary list to check for the number of searches in Overture and the number of SERPs in G and calculate the search/SEpages ratio to get an idea of the popularity of a keyword (... I found a few very popular kw's with this method :->). But how can I get an idea of the value of the keywords? The value of kw's should be somehow similar for CPC, Adsense and other advertising media so I guess it should be possible to calculate a price range for a specific kw. What do you think?

Thx,
Turbo

turbohost, I don't really have an answer for your overarching question, but on a related note, I wanted to make sure that you know that the Traffic Estimator can be used to get a ball-park figure for the competitive Max CPC of an individual keyword - or for a list of keywords.

The tool is available both as a standalone tool if you don't have an account, or from within the account if you do have one.

Not what you were looking for I know, but worth mentioning at least - especially as there have been no other responses.
