I have a campaign (set to only show in the UK). I pay around $150 per day on average in this campaign for clicks. But adwords says that my daily budget needs to be $2700!
Holy smokes batman! ;-)
I have to say it's making me a little bit jumpy and I monitor my campaign daily like a hawk, but what else can I do if I want to display my ads 24/7?
Why can't adwords take the average spend of your campaign for the last week or month, and apply that + an acceptable margin to the Recommended Budget calculations? Especially if you haven't made changes to it at all?

Its impossible to say without knowing what kw/kp you are targeting in your 200 adgroups, but it sounds to me as if your speading yourself too thin.
It also might be a good idea for you to look at: [adwords.google.com ]. Basic things yes, however most don't take the time to actually read through all of the information and then wonder why they are having difficulties. Honestly, in the AW help sections there is a TON of valuable information that the vast majority of advertisers just are not using to their advantage.
