Today I received an email from Google, explaining to me that they disabled two ads (which actually had a nice CTR) because the ad was disapproved of. The email - though automated - was very helpful, outlining what exactly was wrong with the ads. It turned out that I did keyword matching, and my alternative text was too long. Even though I wonder why they didn't realize that at the time I entered the ads, I still think it was pretty good service to email me about that.
There was a link in the ad too, which directed me to a tool I haven't seen so far - the "Disapproved ads tool". I clicked on it and had a very straightforward interface, showing me exactly the affected ads, the reason for disabling, the DATE of disabling and it even had an Edit button, so I could change the ad immediately.
Pretty cool! Saved me digging through my campaigns. Anybody seen this before? Probably I was only ignorant so far...
