Few days ago I started with adwords for the first time. I have 3 campaigns and for every campaign I have a list of around 20 keywords, but only the first 4-5 in my list get impressions, why?
Also I am wondering why google proposed with my CPC
that I would get position 8 with my ad, but in reality I have now position 70. How can this be,
Is the google estimation so wrong?
best regards missgirl
Your ad may not show everytime one of your keywords is search because your daily budget may not be high enough. Example: If you have a keyword that is searched 300 times a day and you are paying 10 cents for it and your dialy budget is $10, Google will spread it's showing out over the day so your ad may show all day long. It just won't show in every search because if it did it would take you over budget.
Want to see this in action, type "Widgets" into google. Over the last year this set of broad keywords has brought me .X% CTR, on just a few XXXXX impressions. But I've typed it in at dozen times myself and never seen the ad at all.

That's what I always thought the year 2000 was going to be like back in the 1960's. We've seen very little of the predictions from the 1965 World's Fair come true.
They made it like when when I "grew up", we'd walk into the kitchen and say "bacon and eggs please" and a mechanical arm would produce a plate in 10 seconds. And if I was stuck in a traffic jam, I'd just press a button and the car wings would pop out. Vacation on one of the moons of Saturn for a weekend.
Now, I live in a building built before I was born with ancient radiators providing intermittent heat.
The biggest innovation has been in info technology. No one imagined the reach of the internet and instant communication.
BTW, I tried your phrase, it appeared all 6 times with different variations of the ad. I didn't want to do more lest I hurt your impression count. I didn't click either, parsed out the URL and opened in another window.
Good luck with that!
