Content Ads appearing on Google Search

Can anyone duplicate this? or just a random bug?

I by default split my campaigns into Search and Content blocks - why advertise on the search network when already have good listings in the organic SERPs? Last month I paused all my campaigns - restarting today just the content network ads.

I now have a screenshot of my content network only ad - on the google search engine results page - this is not what my settings ask for - specifically only content - I have no.1 positions for the term I'm targeting.

Is this the case for anyone else? Confirmation would be useful from a few independent places.

It is possible that I'm misunderstanding content verses search network - but it looks wrong.

// Aside - would the implications of this have an impact in the crazyness that people* are seeing in Adsense payouts? advertisers budgets for content networks being used up on search?

* mine have been steady.

You hit the nail on the head there. Your ads will always show on Google.

"Search Network" is their search partners: AOL, etc.

"Content Network" is AdSense and other content sites.
