AdWords Raises Account Limits - Bigtime

I just noticed an announcement in my MCC account:

Your account just got bigger
You can now have up to 10,000 campaigns, 4 million ads, and 100,000 ad extensions per account.

holy crap

So clicking on the Learn More link, I'm sent over to this page, dated 3/12/2012

So it looks like it's not just me, it's everyone?

Jump from 25 campaigns to 10,000, just like that? (granted mine all have 100 campaigns) Did I miss an announcement about this somewhere?

5 million keywords per account. They said they raised the limits last year? I totally missed this until I noticed an announcement in my client center.

That may be part of the problem, I'm always logged into the client center and some of the alerts just don't display for some reason.
