Hi,

I am running Adwords campaign for my few websites. If I see all keywords by selecting 'all time' the date range in Adwords Dashboard then the cost per conversion (1-click conversion) for some keywords is wrong (Total cost occurred/Total conversion for the same keyword).

Most of the keywords are showing correct Cost per conversion (1-click conversion).

Please share with me your findings, why the cost per conversion is wrong for some keywords.

Thanks

there are many reasons...

+have you always had conv tracking in place?

+are you also looking at "all keywords" (not all but deleted)?

+how do you know the CPA it's showing is wrong (are you saying that they different from some the tracking system)?

For the keyword say 'red flowers' the total cost occurred is Rs.90,378.57 and the total conversions are 8, Adwords is showing Cost/conv.(1-per-click) Rs.2,216.15.

This all data is from Google Adwords dashboard with the data range 'all time' and the conversion tracking is working fine by Adwords conversion tracking code.

the conversions (8) are also 1-per-click?

if you're looking at things under the keyword tab, are you looking at "all" keywords, or "all but deleted"?

Adwords dashboard has two types of conversions 'Conv.(1-per-click)' and 'Conv.(many-per-click)'. I am talking about 'Conv.(1-per-click)' and Cost / conv. (1-per-click). I am looking this keyword at 'all but deleted keywords'.

Please let me know if you need more information.

Thanks

change it from "all but deleted keywords" to "all"...

Yes, I checked it by changing from "all but deleted keywords" to "all"

The data is still wrong. I can provide you the Adwords dashboard screen shot but I am not finding the file attach option.

Thanks

from the things you've described, this sounds like there is an error in the reporting. suggest you contact support. i've never seen it do the division incorrectly. sorry i couldn't help you solve this puzzle. good luck getting to the bottom of it.
