Can we combine our match types like so? Google seems to accept it.

"red widget" +sniglet

So that you get that exact phrase and another word is required as well? If so, the ad could run for the following search terms:

red widget with sniglets

and

sniglets with a red widget

Maybe there's another way to do that without combining them that I'm not seeing clearly?

Just for reference:
---------------------
keyword = broad match
"keyword" = match exact phrase
[keyword] = match exact term only
-keyword = don't match this term
+keyword = broad match keyword with modifier (learn more)

It only SEEMS like they accept it and in fact might accept this but they surely make some assumptions. It might be that your example would be treated as a phrase match on all three words but who knows for sure. It could be treated as a regular broad match. You don't want uncertainty so don't do it.

Besides, it don't make much sense. In your example, what you really want is:

+red +widget +sniglet
