Flagged by Google

I recently received a warning from Adwords staff warning me. In addition, my key words were all slapped with 1/10 quality scores. I would really appreciate any input you guys have, especially from AdWordsAdvisor.

I've been in touch with Google and it appears the situation is unresolvable with them. Hopefully you guys have some advice about what I can do moving forward.

They have determined that my site is a 'get rich quick' site, which they do not accept. I have attempted to point out that the site's focus is a stock trading newsletter that focuses entirely on risk management and the reduction of risk; quite the opposite of get rich quick. In addition, I did a quick search and found dozens of sites like mine that are still advertising on adwords. Finally, I found quite a few sites that make extreme claims; one that claims it can earn subscribers 70% gains in just one hour, something our site would never claim and that we openly warn against.

I made one mistake in that I calculated compound interest for our monthly returns over the past 7 years, which prints a pretty impressive number. It's basic math, but it appears this is what flagged me.

Bottom line, after attempting to negotiate with Google, offering to put up disclaimers and make any changes they deemed fit, they rejected all and have essentially black balled the site.

So, it appears my options are limited here.

I have a second website, which is under construction at the moment, but that has a PR2. Do you guys feel it's worth it for me to transfer my business to my second site, carefully ensuring to highlight risk factors, adding disclaimers, and broadly broadcasting that the service is not a good way to get rich quick, but rather a prudent way to trade the markets?

Since profitwaves has been flagged and since I have used my second site in the same adwords account will Google just automatically flag the second site if I attempt to advertise my service through it?

I realize this is a lot to consider so I truly appreciate any help and opinions you guys may have here.

Best regards,

Don

simple answer is yes. Some advice here is be very careful how you proceed from here on out as you have been warned and can now get banned with any type of behavior that looks like your trying to get past the issue.

Deal with the problem remove any type of text that would seem to make the site a get rich quick site. Re do the content and overhaul the site to reflect that.

Disclammers won't cut it needs to be content redone reworded and over hauled.

simply close this account and start afresh with new campaigns. Don't run the old campaigns, and consider changing that site (with a new domain and content)

Won't Google ban me for multiple accounts?

Yes, google will (most probably) ban you for multiple accounts. They will also ban you if they find that you are essentially advertising the same content on a diffn. domain. All these tricks have been tried by many webmasters and they have posted them openly on forums, so google is well aware of them, and will ban without warning.

That said, there is very little you can do if you have a QS 1 as a result of manual review. You HAVE to get back in their favor via manual LPQ review. No other recourse, I am afraid.

AdWords is no go.. so try MSN adcenter. Or some other ways of direct advertising.

Thanks GG, I'm inclined to rebuild the website carefully ensuring to make no insinuation in any way, shape or form that it offers an opportunity to get rich quick and in fact, highlighting the fact that it is not.

I've written back to LPQ support asking them if they are willing to re-review the site after I do the overhaul.

It's not my intention to try and fool Google. I thought I was well within their terms of service leading up to this event, but will go over and above what I think is just ok if they are willing to give me a second review.

Like it or lump it, Google has a monopoly on the web.
