why run all three match type campaign?

isnt broad or phrase with negative is the same thing?

do one need to run Exact, Broad, and Phrase with negative all three? isn't running broad or phrase with negative keywords covers exact type.

what are the benefits of running all three match types?

Exact is exact. If the searcher typed exactly what your keyword is (same words, no variations such as plurals and in exact same order), it triggers on that keyword.

If you had the same keyword in phrase match, that is not exact. Negatives have nothing to do with it.

A good reason to have all match types is for informational purposes which will help optimize your campaign. It is a good thing to know for example that people do search on your exact match and how many do so compared to phrase or even broad. As much as possible, I want a higher percentage of hits on exact and phrase matches, if I use broad matches.
