What hours does your campaign perform better?

Limiting adwords impressions in certain hours benefitial?

I used to show my ads all day long but now started to pick when my ads will show, exluding weekends.
Do you notice any benefits of doing so?

Do you know for experience, some hourly ranges are better in conversion terms?
I imagine working hours might be more productive than 23 to 7 AM hours range, but It's just my impression, a guessing.

Have you run any tests about it?

That really depends on the industry, that is, on type of products and also on what kind of customers you have.

For example, stuff for home, like bathroom, kitchen, etc always did better over the weekends.
On the other side, I found that services like Internet, TV, etc did better during the work days, evening hours had few more sales.

You also must calculate special offers as i.e. some companies always do this over the weekends, and therefore, the sales are up during those times.

P.S.
You also have to consider the fact that folks that browse on workdays may come back and buy over the weekend. It is good if you can track that part.

People may browse at work, and come back later from home to make the actual purchase.

You could possibly end up missing sales. Sort of like wanting to buy something at a store, but the "Closed: Out-to-Lunch" sign is on the door.

I know personally I'll email myself the link of something that catches my eye, and then I can later go back and review at my leisure.

BTW, test is the best approach. A small excel spreadsheet to track the data over the course of time.

As smallcompany said, it depends on the sector, and also depends on whether you're targeting consumers or businesses.

I have found when targeting businesses outside of normal working hours brought little return. I notice it from a competition point of view, too. The competitors that are savvy also cut their hours.

Consumer travel-related seemed to work almost any time, better in the evenings and especially better at weekends.
