Well, I'm gonna start on PPC again. I'd like to have an idea of how you jumped in on PPC and how long it took you to find a succesful formula to set up profitable campaigns.

If you don't pay attention to your conversion rate, you'll NEVER make money.
When I started out, I wasn't paying that close of attention to how many people were buying, I was just exctied to get clicks. But then came search relevance and conversions.
So, I trimmed the fat down, found the highest converting keywords, expounded on those words (finding similar words and phrases), and changed up ad copy to reflect relevant keywords.
What I end up with is keywords which get about a 5-6% CTR and an 8-12% average conversion.
So I know if I want to make $5000 a month, I simply need to spend about $4000 to $5000 a month on advertising, and I do some of this on Amazon.
