Display of ALL available ads?

Since when?

Just changed my "preferences" to 100 instead of 10 on G.co.uk - All avail ads for given KWs now seem to be showing whereas prev there was only 8 on the RHS.

Is this new since the recent changeover of the .co.uk default or am I just imagining it?

This is a very recent change, think it started showing up (at least for my location) on Tuesday.

It would be interesting if Google released the numbers of how many people don't surf with 10 results as their display default.

This is going to make the impression numbers go up for those in the lower average positions - and I hope the normalizing formulas for Google about the min CTR are properly adjusted.

This has been available for quite some while, a couple of months surely, or am I just imagining it?

I look closely at adwords results and ads everyday and today is the first time I have seen this.

i agree. I just saw this and surely enough there is a thread about it. :)

I counted them for my very specific three word keywords and there were 34 advertisers!

I typed in one general keyword.... and 94 ads came up! urg.... (my preference is 100 results, BTW.)

94 ads on 100 natural results.. It would be interesting to hear any feedback on this test.

I believe this is a test from Plex. I just called to my Google Rep in Chicago and he didn't know Google was showing 94 ads in one page. :)

He said he would ding into it but I don't expect much from him.

It works here as well and I was indeed surprised about the recent performance of some formely page 2 ads. Anyone knows when this changed?

I saw it this morning at 10am UK time. I was working on another PC till about 1am this morning & didn't spot the change then so I think it may have only been since last night?

Been using 100 results view every day for months now. First time I have ever seen this was today. Now if someone could just write a reliable program to store and analyze all the ads placement/text/etc ... anybody?

I always had my preferences set at 50 and this is the first time I seen over 8 ads on the side. I think I counted 48 ads.

Added: Is that also a new desktop ad at the bottom of the search results page?

Does this new format effect the premium spots. I am not seeing any now on keywords that did have them.

Yes, the listing of all avail ads is new as of today. The desktop search image at the base of the serps is also new.

My guess is that it is just a Xmas thing. A lot of ads are bidding higher for Xmas, so it means that some folk who haven't upped the ante can still stay on the first page some of the time.

Setting results to 100 does not display all available ads (at least for me).

If you refresh the SERPs, you'll find that the number of Adwords fluctuate.

If you refresh the SERPs, you'll find that the number of Adwords fluctuate.

This is due to a number of things. The two main ones are whenever you refresh or do a search with the exact keywords a 2nd time, AdWords goes through all the daily budget and inventory issues again to see what ads can be displayed.

Also, there is some 2nd tier formula which decides that if you've just seen a bunch of ads, and didn't click on any, then maybe the broad match wasn't quite what you were looking for and will display another set of results (this doesn't mean all the ads will be different, it just applies a different matching theme to some of the ads).

The trial must have gone international in time for Christmas, as I was seeing it from a Bay Area proxy but now see it in normal AU serps.

Hey, now I can tell my client he has page 1 ads! ;)

I always search 100 per page.
