Hi,
Should I delete the keyword that mention "low search volume"?
does it affect the quality score of my campain?

Also, does a low CRT affect my campain?

I usually have a CTR between 0,08% and 0,60% is it way too low, what is a good CTR?
Thank you!
Nick

Need more information..

Are you running search only, or search and content?

Are you getting any traffic on the "low search volume" keywords?

Are you advertising on single/double token "head" type terms or more tail niche terms?

Hi baylow,
My ads are for a Painters company.
The low CTR is mainly on terms like "Painters Montreal"
And the the "low search volume keywords" are like "Commercial Painting company south sore of Montreal"

I run a "Search only" campain,
I don't get a lot of traffic on "the low search volume keywords"
Thanks

"Commercial Painting company south sore of Montreal"

is way too long tail of a keyword to ever get traffic on Google. However, if you're not getting any traffic on it, it doesn't hurt to keep it in the account.

However, if you're getting a .08% ctr on google search then you really need to work on that. That's really low for any niche.

In search? That would be pretty bad for me.

I would consider that to be a very low CTR. If a search-only campaign has a CTR lower than 2.0% for an extended period of time the QS of your URL will degrade and Google will start to show your ads less often.

To improve your CTR you need to write better text ads and potentially split your ads/keywords into more highly-targeted ad groups.

Thanks for your answers, I tried to split my ads and didn't work, maybe it's time for me to invest in a seo expert!

monentrepreneur,

If your CTR is below 1% you should work on it. Don't surrender, just tweek your ad copy, split test, and try to find the correct keywords.

Use: [adwords.google.com...]
to find the best keywords for your search.

If you put "Commercial Painting company south sore of Montreal" in that tool you'll see it doesn't get any searches, so that's how I know you haven't used a Keyword research tool.

Start looking for keywords like "painters montreal" and go from there...

Don't surrender, trust me, SEO will take more time and patience. I know Adwords can be hard some times, but at the end it will pay off...

Yes, I would keep experimenting as well. Try a few different versions of ads.
