Are one page landing pages okay for AdWords?

Thanks.

Depends on the page. I've done it, with good results.

though i highly regard netmeg's opinion, i think a one page site is usually gonna have a very tough time with QS.

how can a 1-page site have a proper privacy policy, complete contact details, about us info that conveys biz transparency, compelling / engaging / unique content and more...

you might be able to find special cases where this is possible, but in general, i'd put your chance of success at ppc'ing a one-page site at far less than 1 in 100.

PLEASE build your content and get away from those pages for Adwords. I use one, but for Viral Marketing only

I suggest at least 4-5 pages BUT you can have a great one page landing and a bad 100 page site, true, in general its better to have reach content and it will help you in your organic efforts as well but a very good landing page can work very well for AdWords if it is relevant to the ads and keywords and if you keep close monitoring you can add more pages as you go

Netmeg has it in a nutshell, it depends on the page. But it also depends on the topic. The landing page portion of QS is easy to nail with a single page. A quick mention or two of the keyword is all it takes.

The only way to answer your question fully is to test a one-pager, vs. more.

Always Be Testing

kaistudios- link to your site is not appropriate here.

I would not recommend a single page site of any sort for Adwords. At a minimum you need to have say 5 pages, even if they are just About Us / Contact / Privacy.

Even with many pages, make sure your landing page is not one of those 30 screens high, testimonials / highlighted words / sales pitch video / $3000 of product for $29 pages that some internet marketers love to use. Google is hating them regardless of actual product or content.

Basically, it no longer matters what your site/product really is - if it resembles sites that typically get low QS, expect to get a low QS as well. That applies to look, and also keywords (like cash and debt and free)
