How do I lower only the CPC for Google Seach Partners

This may have already been answered but I'm new to the site so I appologize.

Does anyone know of a way to lower the CPC for the Google Search Partner's only? As discussed in a previous post it was mentioned that the Search Partners use differnt search parameters than Google. I also noticed a lower quality of click throughs coming from the search partners.

I see that I can disable the search partners all together but that would kill a ton of impressions and the few good click throughs I get. What I'm looking to do is mitigate my risk by limitign the max cpc on only the search partners.

I haven't seen a way to do this but I may have missed it. Has anyone else done this?

Thanks

Unfortunately there is no option for lowering CPC for Google Search Partners only.

The only option you have is duplicate a campaign. In campaign 1 you have for example max. CPC 10 cent and Search Partners disabled. In campaign 2 (copy of campaign 1) you enable Search Partners end set your cpc at 5 cent. But that might give you some quality score problems. So in my opinon this is not a good option.

For most campaigns I disable Search Partners because the ROI is not good enough. As soon as AdWords will give more options like setting different CPC bids I will activate it again.

Thanks. Decent idea about creating seperate ads but my qs is already bad enough if I duplicate keywords that might make it worst.

Thanks
