Adwords Account Performance Email

Today we got the "adwords account performance" email. I think this is the first time ever. For those of you who have not seen it yet it's just a monthly summary of your account, clicks, CTR, CPC etc. Nothing new here but in light of recent account bannings I found the timing interesting. I wonder if we have a green light for this month...

When I saw it, I wondered, "Oh, are they going to ban me now?" Then it was just this report. Weird.

Maybe it's a bit of a PR move, as things stand right now I'm reluctant to touch my adwords account.

3 years $200,000 I was banned on Dec 3rd and received the lovely report.

Does this qualify as spam?

I wonder what googler's thinks about this fact:

Most of us would rather get a letter from the IRS than an email from google.

We'd prefer a phone call from our oncologist rather than a google email.

We'd rather wake up and be tiger woods than get an email from Google :)
