Negative influence of many search queries

Can my queries influence ads?

A friend of me has a shop for a small niche market.

He has set AdWords for a specific keyword of his niche market 80km around his shop location.

So at every search query and every web site related to this keyword called 80 km around his shop, this ad appears.

Now I have to make a resarch about this theme.

site:example.com keyword
site:example-1.com keyword
site:example-2.com keyword
...
...
...
site:example-30.com keyword

And at every query, his ad appeared on the Google SRP.

Can this have a negative effect on his ad?

In this geographic area, maybe only 0,5 million people,
but for web sites in this niche, I generated maybe with
this resarch most ad imprssion on this day, without
a single click.

If you're talking about your test searching negatively affecting the ad of your friend...

Use Google AdWords Ad Preview Tool:

[adwords.google.com...]

Be sure you check results as both logged in and logged out from your Google Account.

Now with Google personalizing folks that are not logged in, or have no Google Account, it's tricky for organic results.

Anyway, the Preview Tool will not count reflect impressions in the account of your friend.

I think there is a missunderstood.

I male the queries

site:example.com keyword

To find out how many times certain web sites contain pages about this keyword. This can not be done with the AdSense preview tool.

Some web sites should have many pages about this theme, but are ignoring this theme.

When

site:example.com
shows 105000 pages

but

site:example.com keyword
shows 0 pages,
I can say, that this web site ignores completely this theme

AdWords, not AdSense

And AdWords Preview Tool, for which I posted a link in my previous post, does what you want.

That tool shows everything like you're using G in a normal way - except that it does not reflects impressions, nor you can click ads and links unless you take out the "test" parameter.

For the purpose of just seeing results - it's perfect for you as you can geo-target, select language, etc.
