I've been at this for a while now usign regular Search and Search Partners - content advertising always seemed a waste.

Recently I started getting a good flow of traffic at good rates via content advertising, and I thought I could see which keywords were driving traffic and conversions.

Now when looking at content advertising (primarily focused on the YouTube channel) I see nothing in the Adwords interface for keywords - so I have no idea which keywords are working or not.

Am I missing something here? Maybe there's a tweak in the new interface that I'm missing?

Content doesn't work on keyword search; it only uses keywords in order to establish a theme. Google takes what it thinks is the theme or gist of your content campaign, and tries to serve it up where it thinks it's best matched. So there's no real keyword performance.

In fact, it's possible to run Content placement campaigns with *no* keywords (although I don't) If you have placements and want your ads to run on the entire site, and you win the 'auction' *and* have a decent enough quality score (a lot of things coming together) then your ads could run on the entire site. Or you can use keywords so that your ads only show up on sections of the site that correspond to those keywords.
