When researching the Market for a product you'll find dozens of keywords. How many searches should be considered as enough in order to bid on them?

I know it depends a lot on the product. If it's too specific or not. But I've been working with pretty narrow niches, and my keyword search found some with less than 500 searches a month. Should I still bet on them?

Thanks!

I know it is a horrible idea - but you have to test it yourself!

(Took me years of hanging around here to realise this one simple fact)

The popularity of a keyword in searches does not reflect the effectiveness of the keyword to generate sales.

That is a most important point mustan9

Search volume <> probability of conversion
