Has anyone noticed an unusual spike in impressions over the last couple of weeks? Our clicks are up 10% or so, but the impressions are up way more than that.

I've actually noticed a tendency after the new redesign for Google to Err towards more ads over fewer. The % of searches that come back with a full page of ads, and the full 3 on top, has been far greater as of late. My guess is that this tendency is leading leading to your ads being shown more often...thus higher impressions.
